SMARTE EAST is an alliance between three East of England local authorities, Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk County Councils, with the aim of achieving efficiency, reliability and continuous improvement in the procurement and delivery of public sector capital works projects.

The SMARTE EAST alliance is available to all East of England public procurement authorities and is an ideal vehicle for delivering construction schemes.
